Adobe announced the immediate availability of Flash Player 10 on Wednesday. The new version of the Flash client application added native 3D transformation and animation support along with GPU hardware acceleration for improved performance.

Version 10 also includes support for custom filters and effects, improved audio processing, a new text rendering engine with detailed typographic control, and more.

Flash Player 10 is free and available for download at the Adobe Web site.
