FontAgentX Update From Insider Software

Insider Software has released an update for FontAgentX, bringing it to version 10.1.1. FontAgentX is an OS X font management utility designed for creating custom font libraries and font-activation. The latest version features expanded OS X support and other enhancements. According to Insider Software:

Insider Software announced today the 10.1.1 release of FontAgent X, its Cocoa application that provides total font management and repair.

Insider FontAgent X is a comprehensive font manager for Macintosh computers running Mac OS X. It enables users to build font libraries, active and deactivate fonts, preview fonts in various typefaces, and check for corrupt fonts, unnecessary point sizes, partial font families, font version issues, and Type 1/TrueType collisions.

The new version offers greater flexibility in the importing and handling of fonts contained in the Fonts folder of systems upgraded from Mac OS 9, and the importing of large font libraries. In addition, the new release simplifies installation by adding the ability to install FontAgent X without requiring Administrator privileges on Mac OS X systems.

You can find more information about the FontAgentX update at the Insider Software Web site. FontAgentX 10.1.1 is available for US$49.95 for current users, while the full version is available for US$89.95.
