Unsanity LLC released late Monday FontCard 1.1, an update to its Mac OS X font menu management tool.

This update adds Cocoa support to now work with BBEdit 8.0 and other Carbon applications that use the font panel, massive speed improvements of 5 to 30 times faster at displaying font menus, support for Photoshop and other applicationis palette font menus and support for Word 2004.

FontCard modifies the Font menu in applications, and can add an icon that displays the format of a font next to the font menu item, display the font name in the font face, group fonts into submenus, and add font collections to the font menu.

FontCard 1.1 is priced at US$17.00.
