Formac is now shipping a new version of the Formac Gallery 1740. The 1740, originally designed as an LCD display monitor, now is available in a VGA configuration. The 1740 ships with 1,280 x 1,024 resolution and the Formac Display Connector to reduce cable clutter. According to Formac:

Formac Electronic Inc., a leading manufacturer of performance enhancing peripherals and advanced visualization solutions, today announced the VGA version of its award-winning Formac Gallery™ 1740.

The new Gallery™ 1740 VGA combines Formac’s trendy design language with Fujitsu’s leading Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment (MVA) technology, setting new industry standards for brightness, viewing angle, contrast ratio and pixel response. Introduced originally as a strictly digital LCD, the new display is compatible with the wide range of Macintosh, PCs and laptops with the VGA interface.

Formac’s new Gallery™ 1740 VGA features a true resolution of 1,280 by 1,024 and high quality multiple resolution support. Using an on-screen menu users can adjust image settings such as brightness, contrast, color, position and frequency.
