Freeverse announced the immediate availability of Periscope 1.0 on Monday. Periscope is an application that controls Appleis iSight and third party webcams. It can be configured to take pictures at regular intervals or when motion or sound is detected, automatically uploads images to .Mac, Flickr and FTP sites, supports AppleScript, integrates with Mail and iPhoto, and works with the Apple Remote.
Periscope is a Universal Binary application allowing it to run natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs, and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher. It is available for download at the Freeverse Web site, and is priced at US$29.95.
