Native Instruments began shipping the software-only version of GUITAR RIG 2 on Thursday. The software package focuses on the needs of producers looking for a guitar and bass recording solution, but donit need additional hardware. GUITAR RIG 2 Software Edition is based on GUITAR RIG 2.2, and runs natively on Intel and PowerPC-based Macs. It is priced at US$339.
