· by Mike Washlesky · News

Spiderweb Software has released an update of Geneforge 2, bringing it to version 1.0.1. Geneforge is a science fiction role-playing game designed to be open ended for high replay value. Players have the ability to choose their own course of action, instead of relying on a rigid story line. The update drops the hammer on some pesky bugs issues. According to Spiderweb Software:

Spiderweb Software has just updated Geneforge 2, its hot new fantasy role-playing game with a sci-fi twist, to v1.0.1.

Geneforge 2 is a Macintosh fantasy role-playing epic with a science fiction twist. In Geneforge 2, you explore a huge world, choose which side you will fight for, and make your own horde of completely obedient mutant monsters. Its open-ended system lets you progress through the game using stealth, diplomacy, or good, old-fashioned combat.

This update fixes several irritating bugs, and you could do worse than to get it.

You can find more information about the Geneforge at the Spiderweb Software Web site. The Geneforge patch is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$25.00.
