A new variation on a classic game concept has just hit the market in the form of a shareware game called Brick Ball. Developed by Codenautics Software, this action/strategy game is reminiscent of our favorite Mac game of all time.... Brickles.
The object of the game is to use a paddle to deflect a ball into the play area, taking out bricks near the brick wall. Bricks release power-ups and hazards alike, which can be caught or avoided as you see fit.
System requirements are MacOS 7.6 through 9.1, and QuickDraw 3D 1.6 (or equivalent). Versions for Mac OS X and Windows are under development but not yet available.
