Get Control Of Fonts

· by Kyle D\'Addario · News

Vincent Jalby has updated his full-featured font viewer, FontBuddy, to version 2.0.2. FontBuddy allows users to easily browse all installed fonts and associated characters. This release aims to bridge the gap until the release of version 2.1, expected sometime in December. According to Mr. Jalby:

What is FontBuddy?

  • FontBuddy 2 is a Font Viewer.
  • It shows all the characters of any font. It provides keystroke(s), ASCII and Unicode for any characters.
  • It can print samples of both installed and uninstalled fonts.
  • It is easy to use and MacOS 9 savvy.

New in this version:

  • Fix a major bug in FontBrowser. Fix a small bug in Font Inspector.
  • Add support for Norwegian (Sample text and printout).
  • Fix Swedish printout. Other small bug fixes.
  • FontBuddy 2.1, available in December, will add several other improvements.

FontBuddy is available for US$20. You can find more information at Mr. Jalbyis web site.
