After Casady & Greene Inc. went bankrupt and closed its doors about a month ago, the fate of the classic Glider PRO game has been in question. No more, as the original author of the game has released Glider PRO and the older Glider 4.0 as freeware. From John Calhoun, the author:
Welcome. Since Casady & Greene Inc. went bankrupt, the rights to the game Glider have reverted to me, the author. To that end, Glider PRO and Glider 4.0 are now free and I am giving them away for free download on this web page. Casady and Greene were a wonderful company and I am sorry to see them pass into Macintosh history.
Glider PRO for OS X, Glider PRO for OS 9, Glider 4.0 for System 6 & 7, Glider 4.0 for Windows, and two sets of custom houses are available as free downloads from John Calhounis Web site. Thanks to MacSlash for pointing this out.
