Google Web Toolkit 1.2 Adds Mac OS X Support

· by · News

Google released its Google Web Toolkit (GWT) on Thursday with support for Mac OS X. Google Web Toolkit is a Java development tool that helps build AJAX applications, like Googleis own Google Maps and Gmail - both Web based applications. GWT is cross platform, and creates code that is compatible with popular browsers including Safari, Firefox, Opera and Internet Exporter. In addition to Mac developer support, it also improves hosted-mode debugging performance and fixes several bugs.

Google Web Toolkit is free, and available for download at the Google Web site.
