GrandVJ to Replace ArKaos VJ

· by · News

ArKaos unveiled GrandVJ, its replacement for ArKaos VJ, on Wednesday. ArKaos claims that the new application will build on its current VJ software while maintaining an easy to use interface.

GrandVJ will let visual artists play, mix and manipulate video content in real time for concerts and other events. It supports video clips, animations and live camera feeds, and uses a piano-style keyboard layout for managing content. It also adds a new mixer mode for sequential mixing between layers.

GrandVJ will be available near mid year 2008, and ArKaos VJ 3.6 users that register their software after March 1 will be eligible for a free upgrade to GrandVJ.
