Griffin Technology has released a new version of their USB based audio recording and playback adapter, iMic. iMic provides a relatively high level of audio recording, making it an ideal solution for those looking to improve the audio capabilities of their Mac. According to Griffin:

Griffin Technology today released a new version of their popular iMic USB audio recording and playback adapter. The new revision sports a number of enhancements. It now has greater output power and can support low impedence headphones instead of only supporting line output. The input frequency response for the iMic input has been widened and now supports 10hz-20Khz. Also input gain can now be adjusted on the fly in the iMic control, the Sound control panel and many audio applications.

The iMic provides professional level audio input and output for users with current Macs that do not have audio input as well as for audio professionals and hobbyist that are looking for higher quality audio capabilities.
