Version 4.0 sports a totally new internal architecture. Some of the improvements include immediate startup, active-active clustering capabilities, reduced memory usage, performance and stability improvements, and Kerberos support. The 4.0 upgrade is aligned to support Mac OS 10.3 and will be fully compatible with Mac OS 10.4 “Tiger” when it ships later this year.
The ExtremeZ-IP File Server 4.0 release is immediately available. Pricing depends on the size of the license purchased, but free trials are available.
