Aescapia AB has updated Hollow Ground to version 1.2.1. The update is a minor maintenance release for "some minor fixes." The company has also announced a strategy guide for the game, as well as a registration code bonus for registered users. From Aescapia AB:
Aescapia AB has just released Hollow Ground 1.2.1, a maintenance update containing some minor fixes and changes to further improve our critically acclaimed old-school tactical arcade game. The update is recommended for all users.
We would also like to take the opportunity to announce that we are now offering two extra registration codes for each code purchased. Allowing our users the option to give away codes to friends is our way of acknowledging that not all forms of sharing software is hurting us as a developer. The offer is available to both new and old customers.
It might also be worth mentioning that we have released the Hollow Ground Strategy Guide under GNU FDL. Some users are beginning to take advantage of this and are starting to do interesting things with this material, which they say is soon to be made available as a kind of Wiki solution.
You can find more information and download links for the update at the companyis Web site. The update is free for registered users, and the full version of the game is priced at US$19.
