Kinetic Creations has released an update for HourBOSS, bringing it to version 1.5. HourBOSS is a hardware and software system designed for tracking employee hours. The update features improved search/export and one-button employee status. According to Kinetic Creations:

HourBOSS is a combination hardware and software time clock system that utilizes a USB-capable Macintosh computer to record and report employee hours. The FileMaker-based HourBOSS software provides an employee database, shift scheduling and report generation. The package includes a USB ID card reader and 24 custom ID cards imprinted with employeesi names and companyis logo.
Version 1.5 Adds or Changes:
- One-button Employee Status Report shows who is clocked-in or out at any give moment
- HourBOSS enters kiosk mode (full-screen) only while the time clock is operating and accepting ID card swipes
- Improved database searching and exporting features
- Other, minor changes and fixes
