· by Brad Gibson · News

IGG Software announced Tuesday an update for iBiz, its time-billing and invoicing software.

Version 2.4.6, is a maintenance release that has been completely rewritten with tweaks and bug fixes.

New features allow users to manage budgets and investment portfolios, reconcile accounts with bank statements, work with multiple currencies, and import transactions from QIF, OFX, and CSV files.

The new version also adds AppleScript and Automator support, and features a redesigned aqua-interface. NSmart import rules, new in iBank 2, allow users to download bank transactions without extraneous bank-defined characters.

iBiz integrates with iCal and Address Book, offers tax support, has networking features and generates custom invoices. Version 2.4.6 includes an iBiz widget for use with Mac OS X 10.4.

iBiz retails for US$29.99. Version 2.4.6 is free to registered users of 2.x. A demo version is also available at IGGs Web site.
