The IT-Enquirer has posted an overview of Aliasi MotionBuilder Pro 6, the latest version of the professional, character animation utility. The brief article covers the major enhancements found in version 6 including Keyframe control improvements and the addition of multi-referential animation. According to the IT-Enquirer, the majority of the MotionBuilder 6 enhancements are designed to speed up the creation process including the Rig Reconnect feature designed for reloading a "rig" in a different scene or on another character.
MotionBuilder 6 also supports audio recording with sychronized frames and the importing of video texture maps with new video format support including QuickTime and MPEG.
