Iconfactory Updates IconBuilder Pro

Iconfactory has updated their icon creation software, IconBuilder Pro, to version 2.1. IconBuilder Pro, in conjunction with Photoshop, allows users to easily create icons for both the Mac and Windows OS. The latest version adds compatibility with Mac OS 9.1. According to Iconfactory:

The Iconfactory announces the immediate availability of IconBuilder Pro v 2.1. This update (free to registered users) corrects a small, but significant bug when IconBuilder was used in conjunction with Mac OS 9.1. Some users experienced color shifts when creating icons for the Windows operating platform in lower bit depths. This has now been corrected and we recommend that all registered users update their copies. Since this bug only applied to the creation of Windows icons, the fix was unnecessary for IconBuilder Lite.

IconBuilder is a filter for use with Adobe Photoshop that makes creating icons for the Mac and Windows OSis a snap. IconBuilder combines the power and flexibility of Photoshop with the ease of use of the Mac OS to make a powerful icon creation tool for both beginner and professional users.
