If Then Software Releases Spacey 1.0

· by Mike Washlesky · News

If Then Software has released a new app for Mac users, Spacey 1.0. Spacey is a playlist utility designed for posting a users top music picks. The app ships with support for .mac accounts and iCal integration. According to If Then Software:

Spacey is a software utility that will work with iTunes and your smart playlists to not only compile a top 5, 10 or 25 list, but eMail them, add them to iCal or send them to your iDisk.

The software works closely with your smart playlists to build a "hit list," which can be shared with the world. If you donit have a .mac account, Spacey will send your compiled playlist(s) to an FTP site of your choice.

Spacey is that utility that will allow you to show the world what your top 5, 10 or 25 list is at any point--just like one of those coast to coast DJis! Upon publishing your playlist(s) to the internet, anyone clicking on any song in your list will be brought to the Gracenote CDDB to learn more about the song and even what CD it is on!

You can find more information about the Spacey release at the If Then Software Web site. Spacey 1.0 is available as donationware.
