Impression Updated With Improved G5 Support

The Babel Company has released an update for Impression, bringing it to version 1.71. Impression is a utility designed for the secure backup of optical disc directories. The update features improved G5 support and bug fixes. According to The Babel Company:

Impression is a low cost backup utility used to back up directories to (and restore them from) multiple optical discs (CD-R, CD-RW, and DVD-R are supported). It includes a utility for erasing rewritable discs.

Impression 1.71 has been fully recompiled to take advantage of the capabilities and speed of the new Power Macintosh G5 architecture. In addition, this release also fixes a lone bug in the backup application for Mac OS X.
