InterLok Heads For Universal Binary, Will Enable Intel-Capable Music Software

PACE this past weekend said that its copy protection software InterLok will soon support Universal Binaries, which means that copy protection solutions such as the iLok key will soon be able to go Universal and enable the release of more Intel-compatible music applications.

According to Create Digital Music, such software as Ableton Live and Appleis own Logic Pro donit use iLok, which allowed Universal versions of them to ship before now. However, companies like AVID and DigiDesign use iLok, so the lack of Intel support in InterLok has kept them from issuing Universal Binaries of their applications.
