Internet Calendar Creation App Updated

Yenco.com has updated their application for easily creating dynamic, custom calendars, iCalendar. Version 1.8 includes a host of icon and interface enhancements, and allows users to create and post web based calendars. According to Mr. Yenco:

  • PNG export option added enabling smaller calendar graphic files to be created
  • Welcome window updated with new shortcut to the software update feature (registered users only)
  • Splash screen appearance and links updated New 32-bit and Mac OS X large icon added
  • New interface icons
  • New context-aware help system using Apple Help Viewer
  • New welcome document

iCalendar is a powerful client-side tool for quickly creating custom calendar graphics with related HTML pages and ImageMap links that can then be uploaded to any internet server. It is ideal for schools, user groups, or any organization that wants to post their calendar of events online. iCalendar is compatible with Mac OS 9 and the Mac OS X Classic Environment.
