Iogear Inc. introduced Tuesday a USB Speaker Phone for Mac and PC users using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) for two-way phone calls.
The USB Speaker Phone uses Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for sound quality. It measures 2.2 x 0.8 x 3.2 inches and weighs 1.5 ounces. It attaches to the USB port using a six foot long USB cable, and includes a 2.5 millimeter headset jack for private conversations.
The device requires no special software drivers and supports Skype, Vonage, Webex and popular instant messaging services like iChat.
The device is available now and retails for US$59.95
