It's That Time: Here's An Artist's Redering Of The "NeXT Apple Portable"

Do you smell that? Thatis the smell of Rumor Season. Yes, itis that time again. MACWORLD San Francisco 2001 is less than a month away, and as all eyes converge on Apple and their current financial troubles, the rumors are already flying. The current one to sweep the Mac Web involves a new portable that will reportedly take its cue from the Cube.

An Observer named Bob Borries sent us a mock-up of what this portable might look like, and we share it here with you. Please note that no one is claiming that this is what it will look like, call it a hope instead. We thought it pretty cool looking and offer it for your enjoyment.
