· by Mike Washlesky · News

J2S has released an update for J2SEditor, bringing it to version 1.1. J2SEditor is an IPTC caption editor designed for editing picture documents. The update features an Inspector window and hard coded functions. According to J2S:

J2S announces the availability of version 1.1 of its J2SEditor, an IPTC caption editor with file management capabilities running on MacOS X and MacOS 9.

J2SEditor is a programme designed to edit picture documents. Its image browser displays documents thumbnails and helps you sort files . Its caption editing module lets you add or modify textual meta-data of graphics files separately or in batch without affecting the documents (e.g. the caption of a JPEG file can be updated without recompression of the document).

New features include:

  • An Inspector window to see IPTC, EXIF or more general information from the image browser
  • Possibility to mark documents with a set of colours
  • the Copy/Move/Delete Finder functions are now hard coded and no longer supported via Applescript

You can find more information about the J2SEditor update at the J2S Web site. J2SEditor 1.1 is available for US$250.00.
