Well-known Mac author and columnist Jim Heid has used the last year to update what was the very first book on Appleis iLife software suite and the newest edition of The Macintosh iLife i04i" has just been released.
The newest edition is one-third larger than last yearis and fully updated to cover all of Appleis new iLife upgrades, including GarageBand 1.1, iTunes Music Store enhancements, and the expanded iPod family. The book is comprised of full-color, two-page spreads, each a self-contained tutorial or set of tips on a specific subject.
The bookis companion DVD is completely new and contains two hours of video instruction on all five iLife i04 applications.
Produced by Avondale Media, the DVD also includes software, GarageBand loops, example songs, sample video footage fully functional iDVD themes and iMovie plug-ins, and more. Those already using iLife will appreciate the ?What?s New in iLife ?04? menu option, which shows only segments dealing with new features.
