Judge Orders MS To Give Code To Suing States

A federal judge has ordered Microsoft to give the 9 states still involved with the anti-trust suit against Microsoft the code to Windows XP. District Judge, Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, ordered Microsoft to hand over the code to the 9 states so that all parties can assess claims on equal footing. In a Reuters News article, Judge Kollar-Kotelly is quoted to say:

"It seems to me that if your side has access to it, then the other side, frankly, should have access to it..."

The hearing of the case against Microsoft by the 9 states is set for March 6, 2002.
