Karelia Updates Watson In San Fran

Karelia Software has released an update for Watson, bringing it to version1.1. Watson is a Web desktop interface designed to simplify Web browsing and bookmarking. The updaqte includes TV listing support and a new Package Tracking function. According to Karelia Software:

At MacWorld Expois "Power of X" keynote, Karelia Software today announced the release of Watson 1.1 its pioneering desktop interface to the most popular web content and services.

Todayis release features two new tools: TV Listings and Package Tracker. The package tracking tool aggregates multiple carriersi web sites and features effortless status updates. The TV tool displays personalized TV listings for nearly every program on every channel throughout the world, all in a lush Aqua user experience. Both tools follow in the Watson tradition of reducing Mac users time-to-everything on the web. Additionally, Watson 1.1 now:

  • Supports printing
  • Includes a dock menu for direct tool access
  • Sports many usability and performance enhancements
  • Allow unregistered users to evaluate the entire suite of tools
  • Has greater expandibility options for third-party tools
