Karelia Updates Watson To 1.6

Karelia Software has released an update for Watson, bringing it to version 1.6. Watson is a Web desktop interface designed to simplify Web browsing and bookmarking. The update features improved app integration, Amazon.com performance enhancements, and bug fixes. According to Karelia Software:

Karelia Software today announced the release of Watson 1.6, a free upgrade to its award-winning desktop interface to the most popular Web content and services.

Watson 1.6 boasts a number of improvements including integration with iCal, the Mac OS X Address Book, and EyeTV from El Gato Software.

Watson 1.6 features support for the EyeTV Digital Video Recorder from El Gato Software of San Francisco, CA. EyeTV owners can select a TV show from the time grid and schedule the show for recording, much more conveniently than using the companyis current Web-based solution.

Todayis release also features improved performance in its Amazon.com browser, adds wide-screen movie trailer playback in its Movies tool, and fixes a number of bugs across the application.
