KidzMail Updated With Window Enhancements

KidzCan has released an update for KidzMail, bringing it to version 1.1.1. KidzMail is a email client utility designed for children. The update features window enhancements and authenticated SMTP support. According to KidzCan:

KidzMail is a full-featured email client designed for children. With KidzMail, children draw pictures and send them to people in their address book. Addressing email is as simple as choosing recipients from a list of pictures and names. Parents control the address book, so they know who their children are sending email to.

KidzMail is made with REALbasic from REAL Software, Inc.

KidzMail 1.1.1:

  • Mailbox window now has a zoom button
  • Mailbox window remembers size and position
  • Mailbox windowis list remembers column widths, which column is being sorted, and which direction to sort
  • Now supports authenticated SMTP
  • Support for non-ASCII characters (i.e. accented characters) in both subject and body when composing and reading email
