Kodak Debuts Dual-Lens EasyShare Digital Camera

Kodak on Monday introduced its new EasyShare V570 digital camera, a dual-lens model that incorporates an ultra-wide angle lens and an optical zoom lens. The company will be displaying the camera at this weekis Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and said it expects to ship it later this month with a US$399 price tag.

The V570 features five megapixels of resolution, 5X optical zoom, in-camera panorama stitching, video recording, a 2.5-inch LCD screen, in-camera distortion correction, picture blur alert and 22 scene modes plus three color modes. It includes 32MB of internal storage and uses SD flash storage cards.

The V570 comes with Kodakis Photo Frame Dock 2, which enables users to easily transfer photos to their computers, create custom slideshows that can be viewed in the dock and automatically recharge the camerais Lithium Ion battery. The camera also ships with Kodakis EasyShare software, which assists with organizing, printing and e-mailing photos.
