Koingo Introduces Swift Share Networking App

Koingo Software announced the immediate availability of Swift Share 1.0 on Thursday. Swift Share is a file server and share points management utility for Mac OS X that does not require Mac OS X Server.

The application lets users to share more than their Home directory Public folder by allowing them to set which directories are shared, manage users and groups, control guest access, authorization modes, and more.

Swift Share requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher and is Universal Binary, allowing it to run natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. It is available for download at the Koingo Software Web site, and is priced at US$19.95.
