SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Pixoria announced Monday that its hit widget app Konfabulator will be on sale during Macworld San Francisco. The company will be offering Konfabulator for Mac OS X and Windows for US$19.95 at the companyis Web site from January 10th through the 14th.
Konfabulator is a software engine that runs small sub-applications called Widgets. Each widget runs in its own window, and offers a small footprint in terms of both screen real estate and system resources.
A large third-party developer community has created a host of Widgets for Konfabulator. Weather, shipping tracking, calendars, IRC clients, stock tickers, news readers, and a huge assortment of other Widgets have been released for the product.
