On July 27, the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group (LAFCPUG) will present "Boris and the Duck Night," starting at 6:45 PM at the Gallery Theater in East Hollywood, Calif. Ann Renehan of Boris FX will be on hand to show off the latest versions of the companyis software while Wes Plate will demonstrate Automatic Duck Pro Export 3.0.
In addition, the San Fernando Education Technology Team will stop by to talk about the iCan Film Festival happening Aug. 6, and Larry Jordan will present "Rendering in Final Cut Pro 5." As usual, LAFCPUG will also offer Show and Tells, Stump the Gurus and the World Famous Raffle. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and a US$5 donation will be requested from all attendees.
