LaCie introduced its 2big Triple RAID hard drive system on Tuesday. The 2big Triple includes FireWire 400, FireWire 800, and USB 2.0 interfaces, and is available in 1TB, 1.5TB, and 2TB capacities.

The 2big Triple supports RAID 0, RAID 1, and JBOD configurations, includes two hot-swappable drives, and can be used vertically, on its side, or mounted in a server rack. It also ships with EMC Retrospect Express data backup software.
The 2big Triple will ship in October, but is available for pre-order now. It is priced at US$399 for the 1TB model, $599 for the 1.5TB model, and $899 for the 2TB model.
