LaCie Introduces Network DVD Burning

LaCie announced on Thursday its Remote Burn software for Mac OS X. The software, exclusive to LaCie, enables users to burn to multiple DVD± RW drives on a network. The LaCie portable DVD±RW with LightScribe and d2 DVD±RW with LightScribe drives for FireWire are supported.

With LaCie Remote Burn, users can access LaCie DVD±RW burners from any Macintosh located on the local network. In addition to our drivesi stylish design, LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling technology and the bundling of a complete version of Toast Titanium, LaCie continues to offer the most advanced burning solution for Macintosh users."

The LaCie Remote Burn is bundled with the LaCie Portable DVD±RW with LightScribe, Design by Sam Hecht and d2 DVD±RW with LightScribe drives for FireWire. OS X Tiger or later, one of the specified LaCie drives and a local area network are required.
