LaCie Launches USB Speakers Designed by Neil Poulton

LaCie announced the immediate availability of its encore product, bus-powered USB Speakers designed by Neil Poulton. The speakers feature internal cable storage and a carrying case.

"The LaCie USB Speakers can simply plug into a PC or Mac for fabulous on-the-go audio fidelity without the need to install additional drivers. ?The speakers can also be directly connected to a MP3 player with the purchase of an additional power adapter," LaCie said.

The USB Speakers are an encore to the previously launched LaCie FireWire Speakers which are still available and priced at US$99.99

The USB Speakers feature a frequency response of 90 Hz to 20 KHz. Because the speakers are bus powered, thereis no need for an AC adapter or batteries when used with a Mac or PC.

The LaCie USB Speakers are immediately available and priced at US$59.99.
