A last minute reminder to the holdouts out there: Today is the last day to convert your iTools account to a .Mac membership. Apple extended the deadline to October 14th, today, and has made no sign of offering another extension. The deadline includes the US$49.95 first year of membership extended to all existing iTools account holders.
Apple had origally set September 30th as the deadline for converting iTools accounts, but bumped that deadline back to October 14th on September 29th, the day before that deadline. Apple has claimed some 180,000 .Mac subscribers as of October 1st.
To convert, simply log in to .Mac with your iTools account name and password, and follow the numerous "UPGRADE NOW!" links.
