LightWork Design has announced the spin-off of the NavisWorks Division into itis own separate entity, NavisWorks Ltd. NavisWorks Ltd. will focus on the integration of 3D design into several industries including the engineering and architectural fields. According to Lightwork Design:

As an independent company, NavisWorks will be completely focused on developing the market for communication, visualization and navigation of 3D designs in the architectural, engineering and construction industries. The company expects to significantly expand its access to customers during 2002 and beyond, working with its reseller channel and software developer partners.
