Livid Instruments Union 2.5 Adds FreeFrame Support

Livid Instruments announced the availability of Union 2.5 on Tuesday. The new version ads support for FreeFrame effects, advanced MIDI integration, video layers and more.

In addition, version 2.5 adds multiple cue points, audio aware effects, a caption module, and advanced sound trigger with filters, and BPM sync with rate adjustment.

"Union transforms your computer into an all-in-one live VJ software mixing studio with hundreds of effects, live video inputs, audio aware effects, and complete MIDI integration just to name a few features. Union give you the tools you need to create, mix, control, perform, and record cutting edge visuals in real-time," according to Livid Instruments.

Union 2.5 for Mac requires Macintosh G4, 1.5 GHz or faster and Mac OS X 10.4 or later. It is priced at US$299. Current users of version 2.x can upgrade for US$75.00.
