M-Audio Debuts Trigger Finger Audio Station

M-Audio has announced Trigger Finger, a USB-equipped device for performing and programming percussion and drum parts. The new device will ship at the end of March for US$249.95.

The desktop unit (shown below) allows a user to program 16 velocity- and pressure-sensitive pads. Each pad can be set for pressure sensitivity. 8 knobs and 4 faders are also fully assignable to any MIDI parameter, such as volume, pan, pitch, and effects.

Trigger Finger also has pre-programmed maps for GM Drum, XG Drum, Live, Reason, iDrum and more. Power for the unit comes either from the USB connection or via a DC adapter.
