MACWORLD Carry Over: Apple Back On Top

After a one week absence from the number one spot on the PC Data Top 10 Hardware Site list, Apple is again at the top. On the heels of last weekis MACWORLD Expo, the Apple web site saw over 1.5 million visitors last week, the largest number in months. The host of product announcements and national media attention generated by the MACWORLD Expo saw a spike in traffic to the trend setting site. Joining Apple in the Top 10 were PC powerhouses HP, Dell, Compaq, Gateway, and IBM. Also joining the Mac maker are hardware resellers Egghead, Outpost, GoogleGear, and TigerDirect. This weekis list saw no newcomers.
