MACWORLD Early News: Keyspan To Unveil FireWire Cardbus & PCI Cards

Keyspan has let The Mac Observer know that they will be showing two FireWire products at this weekis MACWORLD Expo. The company will be showing a FireWire CardBus card for laptops and a FireWire PCI card for Desktop Macs and PCs alike. According to Keyspan:

Keyspan (Booth 1419) will announce and demo two brand new Firewire cards at MacWorld Expo NY. On Monday 7/17 Keyspan will announce a Firewire card for cardbus-equipped laptops as well as a PCI card with "3+1" Firewire ports for desktop Macs and PCs. Both products include cable and QuickTime Pro and are compatible with Appleis free iMovie editing utility available for download from Appleis Web site.

You can see these new products at Keyspanis booth, #1419. The company has not yet added information about these two new products to their Web site as of this writing. The CardBus card will be priced at US$139, and the PCI card will be priced at US$89. Release dates have not been announced.
