MCF Software Updates MacRADIUS With Ascend Binary Type Support

MCF Software has released an update for MacRADIUS, bringing it to version 1.2. MacRADIUS is an server utility designed for administration and management. The update features bug fixes and Ascend binary type support. According to MCF Software:

MCF Software today announced the release of the MacRADIUS version 1.2.

MCF Softwareis MacRADIUS(tm) Authentication Server is an Internet-standard RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service) server with the intuitive operation and ease-of-administration of a Macintosh application, and provides administrators of remote access networks with a no-hassle solution for centralized authentication.

Unlike Unix-based RADIUS servers that require an administrator to modify and compile source code, MacRADIUS comes ready to run.

MacRADIUS version 1.2 fixes bugs in handling proxy RADIUS requests, adds support for the Ascend abinary type and introduces a new license key scheme.
