CS Odessa announced the immediate availability of ConceptDraw MINDMAP 5 on Tuesday. The new version of the brainstorming and project management application improved support for Microsoft Office documents and the Microsoft Project XML file format.
Version 5 also added a new Brainstorming mode designed to make it easier to record and organize ideas during brainstorming sessions, and text outline view that can be displayed along with the standard map view. Maps now can contain smooth lines and text, gradient fills, transparency.
ConceptDraw MINDMAP 5 is a Universal Binary application, allowing it to run natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. It is priced at US$119 for the personal edition, and $199 for the professional edition.
