MS Web Site Displays, Then Pulls Apple Icon

· by · News

Microsoft is often accused of copying competitor products, and on Monday sharp-eyed Web surfers caught the company using Appleis Workgroup Manager icon. The icon, according to Daring Fireball, was used on Microsoftis Windows Vista Business Edition Web page. Later in the day, the icon was changed to a group of domed iMac-looking computers, and later it was changed again to a low quality icon of three beige box PCs.

You can see the icon progression at the Daring Fireball Web site.
