· by · News

MaBaSoft announced an upgrade to Application Wizard, version 2.3, on Monday. The new version adds the Mac OS X Address Book to the Special Menu and allows the Application Wizard to be placed in the Menu Bar.

"Application Wizard lets you quickly open, quit, show and hide applications, open them automatically at startup and force them to open using Rosetta, turn single application mode on and quit background-only applications and the Finder," MaBaSoft said.

Application Wizard allows the user to navigate volumes and frequently used folders to quickly open enclosed items, easily access favorite files, recent folders, Address Book contacts and the iPhoto or Aperture library, preview images, music, movies and PDF files, copy pictures and display slideshows, view the metadata associated with files and check system memory usage.

Application Wizard 2.3 is a Universal Application. It has been localized to English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish and Italian and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later. (Some viewing features require Mac OS X 10.4.) Support for Leopard has been in place since version 2.2.2. Application Wizard is priced at US$19.00.
