NetStores announced updates for MacCommerce Designer and MacCommerce Server, bringing both to version 1.0.3. Though a minor point release, the update includes several major new features, including dynamic currency conversion for international orders, international merchant account acceptance, and other international features.
The update also includes support for PSiGate, which offers online payment solutions for Canadian merchants, as well as Optimal Payments, which NetStores describes as a cost-effective credit card processor that works with European and Canadian currencies.
MacCommerce Serve is a MySQL-based database driven processing engine, that includes back-end support for QuickBooks, Quicken, and the MAS business software product line.
MacCommerce is also supported by UPS for integrated shipping services.
MacCommerce Designer is available for US$595 as a one-time fee. MacCommerce Server is priced at $2495. The updates to both are free.
