Attendees to the show can visit MacPlay at The Apple Gaming Center, Hall D - Booth 4341.

One of the most critically acclaimed first person shooters, No One Lives Forever is scheduled to ship in early 2002 on the Mac OS X and classic Mac OS platforms. The award-winning game was named "Action Game Of The Year" by PC Gamer, Computer Games Magazine and Computer Gaming World, and has garnered ratings of 5 out of 5 from Computer Games Online and Maxim Online, as well as 9 out of 10 from Happy Puppy and Game Maniacs.

The Operative: No One Lives Forever is a first-person action-adventure in which gamers experience the distinct style and locales of the fabulous 60is in a captivating story of espionage. Taking on the role of Agent Cate Archer, a beautiful but deadly female operative working for an international anti-terrorist organization called UNITY, players are challenged to complete intense assignments in foreign locations throughout the world.

In the spirit of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons adventure Tomb of Horrors, Icewind Dale is a classic dungeon crawl. It incorporates the award-winning gameplay elements from Balduris Gate, offering players a chance to hone their combat skills while exploring the enormous caverns and dungeons beneath the Forgotten Realms campaign setting. Based on the series of books by New York Times best-selling author R.A. Salvatore, Icewind Dale was developed by Black Isle, and will be available at retail for Mac OS X and classic Mac OS platforms in early 2002.

Using the award-winning BioWare Infinity Engine™ developed by BioWare for Balduris Gate, players create a party of adventurers in the frigid north to combat monstrous cyclops and frost giants that dwarf the player characters as they search for an evil lying deep within the Spine of the World. Icewind Dale offers high-level character advancement in this adaptation of the AD&D® rules under license from Wizards of the Coast.

Additionally, MacPlay will be offering demonstrations of other products from their award winning lineup; including Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Aliens versus Predator Gold Edition and Sacrifice. A special announcement is scheduled for Wednesday, January 9th at 2:00 PM at the MacPlay booth (The Apple Gaming Center, Hall D - Booth 4341) to unveil the identity of the highly anticipated Project Deuce.
